Did You Know about NPEs?

DID YOU KNOW… that clothing made from non-organic cotton and other fabric may contain health-damaging substances called nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEs)? NPEs are often discharged to waterways from textile factories. When NPEs enter the environment, they break down into an endocrine-disrupting chemical called nonylphenol (NP). NP accumulates in sediments and in wildlife.
